I first read Siddhartha when I was 18 years old and it quickly became the keystone of my philosophy and bedrock concerning my view of the world. I have since read it several times, each time gleaning new insight and fresh perspective. It is a story about a person seeking... well... it is a story about a person who is seeking. I have always wanted to do a book on "Tape" and I couldn't imagine one more perfect, especially in these dark and trying times. This is my humble offering this holiday season and I hope you will enjoy it on your travels and in your goings on. I am an ameture reading performer so I hope you will forgive any flubs. It is also worth mentioning that if you listen closely you will hear the gentle purring of my cats Bingo and Rocket from time to time. They felt this was appropriate and that cameos were in order. I would like to give special thanks to my friend Diane Stern for lending me her well worn and loved copy of the book and to the blessed Kyle Gray for being such a wonderful room mate in affording me the quiet required over the month it took to record this endeavor.
