I wrote this in March of 2013, initially as a love song for a past lover and then realized it was actually a love song for myself, a song about personal growth and self love. Took me a hot minute to record it but here 'tis!

It was recorded the morning of March 18th with Jesse French at his home. You'll here little clickity clackity sounds, they're the nails of a little hound dog named Winston, Clementine the Biscuit dog was present too. She took a nap under my legs while we recorded the guitar.

You will also hear the sounds of the breeze in bamboo trees, a few birds and a little loop I made in the middle of the night, 3am March 16th.
